Today I started writing out a bucket list, there is no specific reason why (I'm relatively healthy, no one I know died recently & yes I did watch the movie, but that was years ago). I think I just want something to motivate me, some way for me to be able to prove to myself that I have actually done SOMETHING with my life....
I have only been working on the list on and off for a couple of hours (during my free time at work) but the list has already got about 30 something entries, I am not going to share them all, but I thought I might share a couple of things on my list....
#6. Make out with someone at a drive in theatre
#23 Have a white Christmas
#28 Attend a town meeting
There are some really serious items and there are some fun things too

Today I cooked myself a brunch from scratch, I was so afraid a I was going to poison myself and I am so glad that now, several hours later i am still not sick!
I think I may cook this stuff again, even though it did take at least double the time to make as the recipe said it would....
relievedIt kind of reminds me of Forest Gump, just the things he has done and by the people he has met and the places he has been, I knew none of this before this week. I am thoroughly amazed.
As I sit here writing this I have just turned on The Colbert report... Can you see from this screencap what I see? LOL( Can you see from this screencap what I see? )
Name five characters whose religious beliefs are important to them.
This is a tough one, I really struggled to think of Individual characters and not whole series for example 'Little House on the Prairie', 'Brides of Christ' or the obvious 'Touched by an Angel'. In the end I came up with these, and I think it is a pretty decent list as I actually watched and loved every one of these shows.
Jed Bartlet (The West Wing)
Toby Ziegler (The West Wing)
Father Francis Mulcahy (M*A*S*H)
Shirley (Community)
Mrs. Kim (Gilmore Girls)
I really can't think of any characters that are religious (other than Shirley) on ANY show that is still on the air (especially on Aussie TV), can you think of any?
Last night my dream was that I won the lotto, but the shop that checked my ticket couldn't pay it out to the next day and tried to keep my winning ticket, but I took it back.
I then went to a newsagent 4 floors down (it must have been some huge imaginary mall), and I won $1012, but because of some clerical error that said I owed the government money from a drink driving offence I would only get $69. I did not take the $69, I then went to the police station to get a letter from them saying that the system was wrong.
Then I woke up.
VERY WEIRD. Weird because the numbers are so specific and because I hardly ever drink, and never drink and drive....
And this has just been one out of many weird dreams, for the last few weeks I have been waking up confused A LOT.
confusedI really, really wish that I was able to see Queen play live. It makes me so sad that I could not ever see that in person :(
I also discovered today that Queen helps me clean.
I am usually so bloody lazy, but today being Freddie Mercury's birthday made me watch free video stream of the live at wembley concert. While it was playing I cleaned. Hell I even vacuumed (I did have to dig my vacuum out from under all my laundry that I have yet to do)....

indescribableI have 6-7 weeks off and will be leaving on April 15th (most likely, as this is the first day of my annual leave)
I really want to go to the Anzac Day service on April 25th in Turkey.
This is much harder than planning my last holiday.
Before I got my start date I was planning on a kind of circular trip around the continent, now that seems much harder, mainly because Turkey is in a much more difficult location to (sort of) start from.
I want to use avoid flying as much as possible, and use trains whenever it does not become to inconvenient (I get 50% off train journeys in most countries).
Does anyone know if the trains and ferries are still running in Greece? I heard that they shut down because of the economy. And does anyone know the best way to get from Istanbul to Athens? or Istabul to Tel Aviv? What about getting from mainland Europe to Cairo using a ferry (is that even done?)
Does anyone have any recomendations?
confusedLoved the whole wedding but from the moment she stepped out onto the balcony she had me in the palm of her hand!!!
